A compact machine, driven by people who know the ground
Some jobs can't be done with a shovel: pulling out a eucalyptus stump, digging a twenty-metre trench for irrigation, levelling a sloping plot before building a garden. A full-size digger damages everything around it or can't get in at all. A mini excavator does the same job with far less impact.
The machine is ours and we drive it. We don't hire it out without an operator: the person at the controls is from the same team that prunes the trees and builds the gardens, so they know where the roots run, where the pipes are and what must not get broken.
What is included
Excavation and earthmoving
Digging for wall foundations, small pools, tanks and inspection pits, and moving soil around the plot.
Land levelling
Grading sloping or uneven ground, ready for lawn, garden, paving or building.
Trenching
Trenches for irrigation, drainage, water pipes and electric cables, backfilled and compacted afterwards.
Stump and root removal
We pull out the stumps of felled trees and large roots, so you can replant or pave.
Palm and tree transplanting
We lift palms and trees with their root ball and move them elsewhere on the property.
Site clearing and preparation
Removing stones, rubble, dense scrub and building debris before a garden or building project starts.
When to call us
A mini excavator makes sense when:
- You have a tree stump that won't come out by hand or with a chainsaw
- You need trenches for irrigation, drainage or electricity
- The plot is sloping or uneven and you want a garden or a lawn
- There are stones, rubble or building debris to clear
- You want to move a palm or a tree to another spot

The price of mini excavator work depends on:
- Machine time needed (hours or days of work)
- Soil type: loose earth, clay or rock
- Access for the machine to reach the spot
- Whether soil, stones or rubble need removing from the site
- Getting the machine to the site
- Whether the job is part of a bigger project, such as building a garden or felling trees
